Topic1: Vibration Control Systems: Design, Actuation and Computation

Abstract:This talk is devoted to present new results on the vibration control of structural systems which has been  widely  studied  in  control  theory and  application.  It mainly combines a vibrational  control  mechanism  with  advanced  control algorithms to improve structural system performance and reduce the influence of vibrations. Especially, due to possible structural nonlinearities and uncertainties in complex structural systems under seismic motions, passive, active and semi-active vibration control techniques are reviewed in this talk. Finally, some concluding remarks are provided.

Topic2: Stability and Control of Markovian Jump Systems

Abstract: Due to importance of public-funded research projects dissemination, this talk is put forward the main issues related to ethics in professional research activities, then, the main issues in regard to produce a scientific report for public will be reviewed. Finally, the main international indexes in evaluation of research performances will be proposed. The talk is concluded with some concluding remarks.
