In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and fully implement the requirements of the superior party committee, on January 13, the college party committee held the 2022 Democratic Life Meeting of Leading Cadres in Room 7-1003 of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center. Xia Chunming, member of the Standing Committee of the School Party Committee and Vice President, Xiong Wei, Vice Minister of the Organization Department of the School Party Committee and Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department, and the leadership team of the college attended the meeting. The college party committee attaches great importance to the democratic life meeting. Focusing on the theme, a total of 4 special study seminars were held; heart-to-heart talks were carried out seriously, with 30 conversations between team members and 53 heart-to-heart talks between the team and 34 faculty and staff representatives; opinions were widely solicited and paper copies were issued to all faculty, staff and student representatives 30 copies of the solicitation form were published and 150 people were consulted online. 8 online research symposiums were held with 139 participants, and a total of 34 opinions and suggestions were collected.
Vice President Xia Chunming fully affirmed the work effectiveness of the party committee of the college. He believed that this democratic life meeting was well prepared and could carry out criticism and self-criticism based on actual work. When criticizing, he could also put forward constructive suggestions when raising questions, which would be beneficial to the team's future development.
