On the afternoon of October 27, 2023, on the occasion of the 36th Elderly Care Day and the Double Ninth Festival, the college union, with the support of the college's party and government leaders, held the "Learning from the 20th National Congress and Celebrating the Double Ninth Festival" Elderly Care Day activity on the 5th floor of the comprehensive building of Changning Campus. Nearly 50 retired teachers from the college participated in this activity. Fan Junhui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Li Yuanyuan, Deputy Secretary and Dean of the Party Committee, Shi Yiping, Chairman of the College Trade Union, and some group leaders of the College Trade Union also attended the tea party. At the meeting, Dean Li of the college, on behalf of the college, extended festive greetings and blessings to retired teachers, wishing them good health and a happy holiday! The college has specially prepared birthday cakes for teachers aged 80, 70, and 60 to celebrate their collective birthday. Accompanied by the blessing song "Happy Birthday to You...", the elderly stars make wishes, blow candles, and immerse themselves in happiness. At the meeting, Secretary Fan presented medals and souvenirs to the retired teachers this year. The attending teachers ate cake and chatted freely, sharing happiness and joy.
