To strengthen the faculty development, clarify supervisor responsibilities, and enhance the quality of postgraduate education, the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering invited Mr. Tang Chunfeng from the University's Quality Management Office (Teacher Instructional Development Center) to conduct a specialized supervisor training session on the afternoon of September 19. All postgraduate supervisors and some young faculty members from the School participated in this training.

During the training session, Mr. Tang Chunfeng first provided a systematic interpretation of the university's newly issued faculty management documents, with a focused analysis on core aspects including supervisor responsibility standards, academic ethics norms, and the quality management of the teaching process. Subsequently, drawing on his extensive experience in management and instructional development, he emphasized the critical role of supervisors in the growth and development of postgraduate students, and shared valuable insights on establishing positive mentor-student relationships, providing effective research guidance, and attending to students' mental and physical well-being.

This training provided a valuable learning and exchange platform for the newly appointed supervisors in the school. The attending supervisors unanimously expressed that through this training, they gained a more comprehensive understanding of their responsibilities and mission, as well as a more accurate grasp of the university's policy requirements. They stated that they will engage in postgraduate cultivation with higher standards and greater enthusiasm in the future, contributing their wisdom and strength to the development of the school and the university.
