On the afternoon of July 8, 2025, the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering and Shanghai Colleges and Universities Overseas Exchange Meeting, and the Plastic Surgery Cooperation and Exchange Conference of Shanghai Tiantan Puhua Hospital were held in Conference Room 7950 of the Transportation Building. Sun Yunli, Secretary General of the Shanghai Overseas Exchange Association of Colleges and Universities, and Yu Lianggang, Director of Plastic Surgery of Shanghai Tiantan Puhua Hospital, attended the meeting. Wang Chengtao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of our school, Li Yuanyuan, Xi Zhenghao and Zhang Juan, deans attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Sun Yunli introduced the technical background, related technical advantages, intellectual property cooperation and other relevant information of Professor Yu Lianggang's research, hoping to use the corresponding technology of the Institute in the field of medically assisted diagnosis to solve the relevant problems in the current plastic medicine surgery process faster and better. As a well-known plastic surgery expert, Yu Lianggang has achieved excellent results in frontal osteoplasty. Its technical advantages include surgical tools with intellectual property rights, preoperative plastic 3D model construction, surgical anchor calibration scheme, etc. Yu Lianggang has successfully completed more than 1,800 frontal plastic surgeries so far.

At the meeting, Wang Chengtao hoped that the two sides would further strengthen communication and exchanges, make full use of the advantages of discipline technology and industrial practice of both sides to carry out cooperation, and jointly promote the development of the medical aesthetic industry. Li Yuanyuan introduced the basic situation of the college, including disciplines, scientific research platforms, and the key work carried out by the college in connecting with the national and Shanghai development strategies, and focused on the cooperation and exchange models and achievements between the college and Huawei, COMAC and other large enterprises, and looked forward to the in-depth cooperation between the two sides.

The two sides discussed the points of cooperation in plastic surgery and reached a preliminary consensus on the direction of future cooperation, laying a solid foundation for subsequent in-depth cooperation.
