To further leverage the guiding role of Party building and promote its deep integration with education, teaching, talent cultivation, and scientific research for high-quality disciplinary development, the National Exchange Conference on Party Construction Work in Electrical Engineering Universities was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi from August 23 to 24. This conference was jointly organized by the Party Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics at Tsinghua University, the Party Committee of the College of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University, and the Party Committee of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and hosted by the Party Committee of the School of Electrical and Automation Engineering at East China Jiaotong University.

The Party Committee of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering at our university was invited to attend the conference. Wang Chengtao, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, was invited to deliver a thematic report titled "Leading the New Ecosystem of AI Education with High-Quality Party Building, Cultivating 'Red and Expert' Talent with Dedication and Care," which was well received. Wang Chengtao first introduced the basic information, characteristics, and highlights of the university and the School. Starting from the macro background of AI education, he focused on three aspects: "Party Building Forging the Soul: Steering the Direction of AI Talent Cultivation," "Party Building Gathering Strength: Building an Open and Collaborative AI Education Ecosystem," and "Party Building Educating People: Innovating the Training Chain for 'Red and Expert' AI Talent," to explain the School’s educational practices.

Furthermore, the paper "Focusing on Industry-Education Integration and Collaborative Innovation to Enhance the Organizational Level of the Trinity Integrated Development of Scientific and Technological Talent Innovation" submitted by the Party Committee of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering was recognized as a National Innovative Case in Grassroots Party Building for Electrical Engineering Universities. A total of eight institutions received this honor, including the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University and the Party Committee of the School of Electrical Engineering of Dalian University of Technology.
