On the afternoon of September 23, a delegation from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of Shanghai University of Engineering Science, led by Dean Li Yuanyuan, successfully conducted a productive exchange activity at the alumni enterprise Shanghai Boryn New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The delegation included Ma Yaofeng, Dean of the School of Information Engineering of Zhengzhou University of Engineering Science (a seconded cadre); Kan Xiu (Department Head) and Tong Yanhui (Deputy Department Head) from the Department of Automation; Yan Shujia (Deputy Department Head), Zhang Wenjun (Deputy Department Head), and Wang Guoliang (Deputy Department Head) from the Department of Electrical Engineering; and Jiang Wenchao, a faculty representative from the Student Affairs Office. The exchange focused on topics such as deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting mutual development. Representatives from Shanghai Boryn New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., including General Manager Zhang Yun, Dean Wang Yongxu, and Chief Engineer Lai Jian, attended the exchange.

At the beginning of the exchange activity, accompanied by General Manager Zhang Yun, the delegation from the School conducted an on-site visit to the Beidou Boryn Spatial Information Industrial Park. During the visit, General Manager Zhang provided a detailed introduction to the park's overall layout, production and operational processes, core technologies, research and development environments, as well as the application outcomes of new energy-related products. This allowed the School representatives to gain an intuitive understanding of the enterprise's development scale and technological capabilities.

The event proceeded to an in-depth exchange session where both parties introduced their respective profiles. Dean Li Yuanyuan elaborated on the university's history, discipline construction, faculty strength, talent cultivation system, and scientific research achievements, emphasizing the School's teaching advantages and research directions in electrical engineering, automation, artificial intelligence, and related fields, as well as its outcomes in supplying high-quality talent to the industry in recent years. Liu Chenglin, Director of the Boryn Group Office, outlined the enterprise's development history, core business layout, competitive market advantages, current technological needs, and future strategic plans.
In discussing future collaboration directions, the two parties reached multiple consensus points by leveraging their respective strengths and needs. First, they agreed to cooperate in talent cultivation: the School and the enterprise will jointly establish micro-degree programs, invite corporate experts into the classroom for case studies, and the enterprise will provide students with internship and practical training bases to cultivate specialized talent tailored to the company's development needs. Second, they plan to jointly build a scientific research cooperation platform to tackle the enterprise's technical challenges and collaborate on innovative research projects, facilitating the rapid translation of research outcomes into practical productivity. Third, they agreed to establish a regular communication mechanism, with each side appointing a liaison to conduct periodic exchange activities, promptly address collaboration needs, and promote the sustained deepening of university-enterprise cooperation, thereby achieving a win-win situation for the school, the enterprise, and students. Finally, General Manager Zhang specifically mentioned that, as an alumni enterprise, Boryn consistently follows the development of its alma mater and hopes to build a closer collaborative bridge with the School.
