On August 21, 2025, Li Yuanyuan, Dean of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, along with Wu Peng, who oversees graduate affairs, and Jin Jie from the Department of Electronic Information, met with Wu Guosheng, General Manager of Robei Microelectronics, and his delegation at Room 7950, Modern Transportation Center. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on industry-education integration in the field of integrated circuits, the development of micro-degree programs, and the joint cultivation of graduate and undergraduate students.

Robei Microelectronics (Robei LLC) is a Chinese high-tech company specializing in EDA tools, IP cores, and customized chip services, addressing the gap in domestic digital front-end EDA tools. General Manager Wu Guosheng is an expert in China's integrated circuit field, founder of Robei Electronics, and currently serves as the Director of the Chip Design Institute at Qingdao University. He focuses on EDA tool development, chip design, and talent cultivation, and has received numerous provincial and ministerial honors, including the Shandong Taishan Industrial Leading Talent award and the first prize of the Qingdao Science and Technology Award.

The two parties subsequently held an in-depth discussion, focusing on the development of micro-degree programs in integrated circuits, models for university-enterprise collaboration, and student internships and practical training. Li Yuanyuan stated that the school would fully leverage its disciplinary advantages to engage in deep cooperation with the enterprise in areas such as industry-education integration and talent cultivation. Wu Guosheng expressed that Robei possesses experienced integrated circuit experts and rich resources in digital integrated circuit education, and hopes to deepen collaboration with the school in joint program development and talent training.

This meeting established a strong communication platform between the university and the enterprise. In the future, all parties will further strengthen coordination, explore innovative models for deep integration of government, industry, academia, and research, and contribute to the cultivation of high-level applied talents in the field of integrated circuits.
