From July 16th to 18th, the 3rd Yangtze River Delta Modern Industry College Construction and Development Forum, hosted by the Yangtze River Delta Modern Industry College Collaborative Education Alliance and hosted by Anhui University of Technology, was held in Wuhu, with the theme of "Intelligent Leadership Paradigm Innovation and Empowering the Integration of Industry and Education". More than 300 representatives of universities, experts and entrepreneurs from three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta gathered together to explore a new path for the integration of industry and education in modern industrial colleges in the era of artificial intelligence.

Liu Yexun, member of the Education Working Committee of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and deputy director of the Department of Education, Kong Yingying, fourth-level researcher of the Higher Education Department of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Ding Tongyu, second-level researcher of the Higher Education Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Wang Guoyin, second-level researcher of the Higher Education Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, Lu Lei, deputy secretary of the party group and vice chairman of the Wuhu CPPCC, Huang Yourui, deputy secretary of the party committee and president of Anhui Engineering University, and Wang Chengjun, vice president, attended the event.

In the keynote report session, Professor Li Yuanyuan of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering of our university was invited to deliver a wonderful sharing entitled "AI Empowers the Integration of Industry and Education, Paradigm Innovation and Co-cultivation of Innovative Talents in Application". Based on the wave of artificial intelligence technology development, Dean Li deeply analyzed the opportunities and challenges faced by the integration of industry and education in the new era, and put forward innovative ideas to drive the transformation of education model with technological innovation and break down school-enterprise barriers with collaborative mechanisms.

During the forum, experts, scholars and entrepreneurs participated in the discussion on core topics such as the construction path of the Yangtze River Delta Modern Industrial College, the innovation of talent training model, and the optimization of the school-enterprise collaboration mechanism. Everyone expressed their own opinions and collided ideas, not only summarizing and refining past experience, but also forward-looking thinking on future trends, building consensus in exchanges and clarifying directions in discussions, laying a solid foundation for promoting the integration of industry and education in the Yangtze River Delta region to a deeper and higher quality development.

The holding of this forum is not only a concentrated display of the achievements of the integration of industry and education in the Yangtze River Delta region, but also an important starting point for all parties to work together towards the future.
