Leaders from the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering Visit and Encourage Teachers and Students Participating in the National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest

The 2025 National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest kicked off on July 30, lasting for four days. During July 31 to August 2, Li Yuanyuan, Dean of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Xi Zhenghao, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Zhang Yujin, Deputy Director, and others came to the competition venues such as the School's Central Laboratory, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Laboratory, and the Electrical Engineering Discipline Competition Studio, to visit and extend regards to the teachers and students who were actively participating in the competition during the summer vacation.

The college leaders had cordial conversations with the instructors and competing students, gaining a detailed understanding of the competition's question distribution, the students' topic selection, the progress of their project development, as well as the problems and challenges encountered. They spoke highly of the students' positive attitude and tenacious spirit. Dean Li Yuanyuan encouraged the students to bravely confront difficulties, foster teamwork, and strive to perform at their best. She emphasized adhering to academic integrity and maintaining our university's fine tradition of rigorous scholarship during the competition. She also instructed the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to ensure comprehensive competition support, provide all-around assistance for the event, and ensure that students can fully devote themselves to the competition, aiming to achieve outstanding results in the national contest.

The National Undergraduate Electronic Design Contest is known to be one of the disciplinary competitions for university students jointly initiated by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It helps cultivate students' practical innovation abilities, team spirit, and enhances their capacity to design and produce electronic solutions for real-world problems, thereby fostering excellent applied talents. This contest is a traditional competition that our school participates in, and we have achieved very good results in previous years. For this year's contest, the school has organized 39 teams with 117 students taking part. We hope all participating teams achieve outstanding results in this competition.
