In accordance with the PartyCommittee's "Study Party Discipline, Establish New Trends" PartyDiscipline Education Study Class plan, on the morning of June 4, the collegeParty Committee held a study class and a special session of the PartyCommittee's theoretical learning center group at the Party and Mass AffairsE-Home in Room 7-1003 of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center. Thestudy focused on Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 of the "Regulations onDisciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China." Li Yuanyuan, theParty Committee Deputy Secretary and Dean of the college, led the study ofChapter 10 on disciplinary actions for violations of work discipline, whileZhang Zhenhua, the Party Committee's publicity member, led the study of Chapter11 on disciplinary actions for violations of life conduct. Members of thecollege Party Committee and administrative leadership team attended thesession. The meeting was chaired by Fan Junhui, the Party Secretary of thecollege.
Dean Li Yuanyuan interpreted therevisions to the work discipline section, which aim to resolutely correctformalism and bureaucratism, encourage leaders to take responsibility and actproactively, promote party members' accountability and规范use of power, drive precise accountability, and strengthen regulations oninterference and meddling behaviors. She led the study of Chapter 10 of the"Regulations," which covers disciplinary actions for violations ofwork discipline, explaining each article in detail. She then used fivereal-life cases to illustrate violations of work discipline, such as leaking confidentialinformation, irresponsibility or neglect in management, illegal interference injudicial and law enforcement activities, failure to report truthfully, andformalism and bureaucratism. These examples reinforced the importance ofwarning and education on these issues.
Teacher Zhang Zhenhua, in hissession titled "Strictly Enforcing Life Discipline, Refining MoralCharacter," began by explaining the definition and overview of the Party'slife discipline, as well as the main revisions made to it. He then provided adetailed interpretation of the five negative items in the list of violations oflife conduct. Following this, he led a thorough study of Chapter 11 of the"Regulations," which addresses disciplinary actions for violations oflife conduct. Using typical cases, he emphasized the importance of warning,urging party members not only to serve as role models in work and study butalso to set an example in daily life and social interactions. He encouragedmembers to focus on small daily matters and maintain strict self-discipline andmoral conduct.
At the meeting, Secretary FanJunhui conveyed the spirit of the university's safety and stability workmeeting. Members of the college Party Committee and administrative leadershipteam shared their learning experiences, connecting the study with practicalwork and reflecting on the application of the lessons learned.
