On November 29th, 2024, Mr. Zhao Dawen, vice president and chief engineer of Engineeringand Technology Research Institute of Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group, led adelegation to communicate with the former Institute of Electronic andElectrical Engineering. In the discussion session, at the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Zhao and Dean Lirespectively introduced the basic situation of their respective units and thedevelopment process in recent years. Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group mainlyfocuses on the design, research and development, manufacturing and sales ofwind power generation equipment, and at the same time carries out servicebusiness and wind resource development and investment business to realize thelinkage of various businesses, which is very compatible with the disciplinesand specialties of our college. Dean Li introduced the specific planning andpractical cases of the cooperation between production and learning in theschool. Representatives of electric wind power introduced the industry painpoints and initial ideas of cooperation in wind power equipment construction.Dean Fang put forward some prospects and suggestions for cooperation withelectric wind power. Dean Gao introduced in detail the key technologies of the"new generation artificial intelligence" major project of scientificand technological innovation 2030, and other teachers also put forward ideasand suggestions for construction from the perspective of their respectiveresearch directions. Through in-depth exchanges and discussions, the two sidesreached a consensus and agreed to implement the details of the new cooperationplan as soon as possible.

Beforet he symposium, the guests also visited the artificial intelligence innovationlaboratory of the Institute. Dean Li Yuanyuan introduced the relevantfacilities and achievements of the Institute and the Double Innovation Centerin detail, which enabled the guests to have a deep understanding of theresearch achievements of the Institute of Electrical Engineering in the fieldof intelligence and the development of the Double Innovation Center.
