OnNovember 29, 2024, in order to further improve the quality of postgraduateeducation and strengthen the construction of part-time master tutor team, theInstitute of Electronic and Electrical Engineering held a part-time mastertutor training conference. The conference was hosted by Professor Zhao Xiaoli,Vice President of the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, andattracted the active participation of many newly appointed part-time tutors andrelated teachers of the College.

Theconference kicked off with the wonderful opening of Li Lu, deputy director ofthe Graduate Department. First of all, Director Li extended a warm welcome tothe tutors of part-time master students. He pointed out that with thecontinuous expansion of graduate students' scale, part-time tutors for masterstudents are playing an increasingly important role in postgraduate training. Ihope that all tutors can give full play to their own advantages and fully tapthe resources around them to better guide students.

 Subsequently,Vice President Zhao Xiaoli explained in detail the relevant rules andrequirements of part-time master tutor. She explained the responsibilities oftutors, postgraduate training, professional practice, and the guidance andevaluation of dissertations in a simple way, which made the participants have aclearer understanding and understanding of the work of part-time postgraduatetutors.

ProfessorXiong Yun from Fudan University gave a lecture on "Data Analysis of LargeModel Empowering Complex Behaviors", and shared the innovative measuresand successful experiences of Fudan University in postgraduate training, whichprovided valuable inspiration for the participants. Professor Yue Xiaodong ofShanghai University gave a speech on Deep Learning of Fusion GranularComputing. At the same time, he also shared his valuable teaching experience.

ZhangJianmin, general manager of Kochi Island (Shanghai) Network Technology Co.,Ltd., as a representative of the enterprise, expressed his views on school-enterprisecooperation. Chen Luyi, technical director of Shanghai Pengyue JinghongInformation Technology Development Co., Ltd., looks forward to postgraduateeducation from a technical perspective. Teacher Zhang Lili, a famousinformatization expert in China, Gao Ju, technical director of China UnicomEquipment Manufacturing Corps, and Liu Binbin, chief scientist of ShenlanArtificial Intelligence Research Institute, also attended the meeting andshared their views and experiences.

Thepostgraduate part-time master training conference was a complete success.Participants have said that through this training, they not only have a deeperunderstanding and understanding of the work of part-time master tutor, but alsolearn many practical teaching skills and methods.
